Spend Money to Make Money
You've probably heard the old adage, "you've got to spend money to make money". With this economy, there is no better time to do that than right now!
Spend a little on PVD coatings and your company will be more profitable. Who knows, you might even save a job or two!
Give us a call and together, we'll discuss your application and figure out how we can improve your bottom line by coating your tools. Instead of throwing money away, you'll be taking it to the bank.
PVD coatings are wear resistant and abrasion resistant. If you have an application where your tool wears out and is made of a hardened tool steel, one of our coatings will make it last much longer, improving quality and your profitability. Shown below are some of the more common applications our coatings are used in, but there are many others that aren't shown. If you have a coating application you'd like to discuss, give us a call, we're sure we can help make you more profitable too.

What's It Going To Cost?
PVD coatings are applied in a vacuum chamber at about 800°F, as such, there is some technical expertise involved, especially if you want it done right.
That said, coatings typically cost
5 - 10 % of what the tool costs, although other factors come into play. Some of the factors we cosider when establishing prices are:
- How many parts we can coat in a batch
- Cleaning / Tool Prep requirements
- Fixturing and Masking requirements
