Surface Solutions has been in business since 1995, depositing high-performance, physical vapor deposition (PVD) coatings on our customers’ tools, components, and products. We have a lot of experience providing cathodic-arc PVD coatings.
Our shop, located in the Minneapolis suburb of Fridley, occupies approximately 12,850 square feet. Although much of our business is local in nature, we coat parts from all over the country. Primarily, our line of business is coating medical parts, industrial tools and wear components with various PVD coatings. We currently offer five different coatings (TiN, TiCN, AlTiN, CrN and Alpha™).
In addition to our main business, we offer the following services:
- Hand polishing of tools, components, and machine parts
- Tumbling
- Mass finishing
- Glass-bead and sandblasting
- Stripping (removal) of coatings
