Injection Molding Coatings
on injection mold components provide the biggest payback to
our customers. Some components can cost a couple thousand dollars,
or more. So when that component is coated for $100, or so, huge savings
are obtained when the part gets five to ten
times the tool life.
Besides the longer tool life, coatings will eliminate galling between mold components,
improve part release from the mold, reduce wear from glass-filled plastics, reduce
mold corrosion caused by gases formed in the molding process and reduce mold
cycle time.
TiN and TiCN are the two primary coatings we offer for molding applications.
Both of these coatings can be easily stripped from tool steels, allowing
TiN and TiCN coated components to be continually stripped and recoated
without having to be remade or extensively refurbished between uses.

| We know mold components are a one-of-a-kind tool, that's
why we take great care in processing your parts. We tailor
our cleaning and coating processes to ensure optimal adhesion
and performance of the coating, while maintaining the integrity
of your parts. Our engineers work with your engineers and tooling
people to ensure that your job is done right, the first time. |
