We've had customers that were polishing their dies every 300 - 500 hits that now get 25,000, or more, hits without touching their dies. Some have even gone over 100,000 hits.

CrN can be stripped from tools after use. As a result, many customers make use of stripping, repolishing and recoating to essentially make their tooling last forever.

Many different types of wear components (pump parts, shafts, etc.) can be coated with CrN to improve their lubricity and wear resistance, thereby increasing the life of the component 5 - 10 times, or more.
